Ich habe die malerische Neugestaltung der Ruster Apotheke in einer aufwendigen Eitemperatechnik durchgeführt.

I accomplished the pictorial reorganization in the Ruster pharmacy in the complex technique of egg-tempera. |

Dazu stellte ich Farben mit Farbpigmenten und Malmittel unter Beigabe von Sand aus St. Margarethen nach einem alten Rezept her.

She mades all colours herself with colour-pigments and with the sand of St. Margarethen after an old prescription. |

Meine Intention – in der Apotheke durch Farbe und einfache Gestaltungsmittel eine angenehme sonnige Atmosphäre zu schaffen. Ich ging auf den Standort in besonderer Weise ein und habe die klimatischen Besonderheiten und den geologischen Ursprung im Urmeer mit eingearbeitet. Der aufmerksame Betrachter findet diese Anspielungen in versteinerten Korallen, Muscheln, Fischen und anderen Bewohnern des pannonischen Urmeers.

Zudem wurden auch die Wünsche – nach Gesundheit und Wohlbefinden – subtil „eingearbeitet”. Während der Arbeit entstand auch die Idee, ein verstecktes Bild zu malen – dieses befindet sich an der linken Seite der Drogeriewand. Dieser Zugang zu einer Wandgestaltung ist in der Kunstgeschichte tatsächlich innovativ.
