In der Galerie werden filmische Dokumentationen meiner „vergänglichen” Installationen, die ich in den letzten Jahren in mehr als fünf verschiedenen Ländern verwirklichte, gezeigt.

Bei den meisten Aufnahmen wechselten wir, mein Mann Rudolf F. Klapka und ich, uns hinter der Kamera ab und er war auch für Schnitt und Vertonung verantwortlich.

Tal der Stille, Nida, Litauen

Nachdem wir während unseren Aufenthaltes auf Nida von dem verheerenden Anschlag auf WTC in New York erfuhren entstand diese Installation in den Dünen nicht ganze 400 m von der russischen Grenze entfernt.

Die „Endzeitstimmung“ atmet förmlich aus diesem Video und obwohl das Thema schon in Wien vorbereitet wurde schien Eef die Vorkommnisse erahnen und wir arbeiteten an der Installationen mit „frösteln“ in den Rücken als wäre wirklich das Ende der Welt zum Greifen nahe.

Valley of Silence, Nida, Lithuania

ERKLÄRUNG
Seit es die Menschheit gibt wurden immer wieder Einzelne aus der Masse herausgeholt, um einer Gottheit, einem Ungeheuer, einer Idee oder einem Tyrannen als Opfer dargebracht zu werden. In dem Glauben, durch die Opferung ihres Nächsten eine – wie auch immer geartete – Macht besänftigen zu müssen, wurden und werden weiterhin vorzugsweise Unschuldige aus dem Kreis ihrer Familien herausgerissen und ihr Schicksal unabwendbar von Fremden vorbestimmt.

EXPLANATION
